Shipping policy

International Tariffs / taxes / Duty: ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (Outside of UK) - orders placed from outside UK are now calculated and charged at check out, there will be no further charges for you to pay on delivery (including NI, USA, CAN, EU, ROW).  See section 8 below for further details and feel free to message us if you are unclear on anything.

*USA tariffs - we will update as soon as we have confirmation from the customs office if the % fee will change regarding the announcements of 20th February 2026. Please be assured if you place a pre-order and the tariffs increase before it is ready we will not charge you extra. 

1. Shipping Cost: Add items to cart and enter your full address for a shipping quote.

2. Shipping Services: Are based on value of order and cannot be changed

-Standard shipping via UPS / Royal Mail (UPS requires signature)

-Express shipping via UPS - requires signature (cannot be sent without signature) 

3. Shipping times: All items are dispatched from the U.K. and sent fully tracked, UPS and Express shipping requires a signature. 

UK: Standard 2-3 days, Express Next day delivery

USA / Canada: Express 3-5 days, Standard 5-8 days, (World zone 3)

Australia / New Zealand / ROW: Express 6-9 days (World zone 2) 

Europe: Express 2-4 days,(Europe zone 1/2/3 dependent)*

ROW Express 4-9 days (World zone 1)

3.A. XMAS Shipping (Applies December 2025):

Please note our last order dates in DECEMBER for shipping in time for Xmas:

UK: Standard 15th Dec / Express 18th Dec

USA: Standard 12th Dec / Express 15th Dec

ROW: Standard 5th Dec / Express 8th Dec

(Orders must be placed before 9am GMT otherwise processing will be on the next business day)

Any orders placed after 9am 22nd December will not be processed until we reopen 7th Jan.

For Express delivery dates you must select EXPRESS shipping at checkout otherwise your order will be shipped as STANDARD.

During the Xmas period delivery times may be extended from the usual estimates, this depends on the courier and is outside of our control. Please allow at least 2 extra working days than usual for all services. 

Please also allow extra time for dispatch during the busy Xmas period, this can be 1-5 business days. 

These are guides based on our couriers guidelines, do take into account possible customs delays and seasonal postal delays.

Orders placed after these dates will still be dispatched but may not arrive until after Xmas. 

Please remember we are a small business and do not have the same capacity as larger companies.

We will be closed 22nd Dec - 7th Jan for staff holidays, no customer service will be available during this time, orders can still be placed but will not ship until after we reopen.

Gift vouchers will be available through out as these are automatically processed and sent to you via email, perfect for last minute shoppers! 

4. Dispatch time: We aim to dispatch within 1-3 days (excluding weekends) for all in stock items. This may be extended during Xmas / UK holiday / inclement weather periods to 1-4 days. Orders placed outside normal business hours will be processed the next working day. Orders with Express shipping will be dispatched within 1-2 working days. 

5. Worldwide Shipping: Items are shipped from the UK and we ship worldwide*. All items will be sent with tracking and Express require a signature on delivery. All postage costs are based on size and weight, the postage will be calculated once you enter your address at check out. Please ensure you enter your shipping address correctly and in full,  if there is an error in the shipping address this can result in your order not being delivered or incurring additional charges. If an order is returned to us due to the above error shipping charges will be billed to the receiver.

6. Our guarantee: We guarantee the safe delivery of your item, if for any reason it doesn't arrive to you in perfect condition please contact us as soon as possible and make sure you retain the packaging and item until advised otherwise. We will either replace or refund your item, no quibble. We will require evidence of this to be provided within 7 calendar days.

7.A. Lost / delayed packages: If your order has not arrived within 14 days of it being shipped or the tracking details have not been updated for over 5 days please report this to us via email ASAP. We cannot trace lost orders more than 30 days after the shipping date, it is the customers responsibility to inform Dogwood Lifestyle if their order is lost or delayed. 

7. B. Redelivery / Collection: In making a purchase with Dogwood Lifestyle you accept that it is your responsibility to arrange collection or redelivery if you are not home when the delivery attempt is made by our courier. You will be notified by email when your order ships and be sent tracking details to allow you to follow your order progress and arrange any redelivery / collection if and when needed. If you fail to rearrange delivery or collection Dogwood Lifestyle cannot be held responsible and it may not be possible for us to locate your order. 

Please note, if you choose to use the 'sign online' or 'leave in safe place' option for your order then you are agreeing to let UPS / Royal Mail / chosen postal carrier, waive liability for loss or damage.  If you do this it is at your own risk and also voids our guarantee.

In addition, our guarantee only covers items sent directly from Dogwood Lifestyle Ltd to the customer. If you choose to use a 3rd party intermediary service, such as a parcel holding / shipping company this is at your own risk and excludes the transaction from our guarantee.

8. International Taxes & Tariffs (outside UK): We are happy to ship worldwide however please be aware most countries charge taxes and import fees. Since Brexit this now includes Europe and Norther Ireland. Any tariffs,  taxes, duties and import fees are  calculated and charged at checkout. You will not be billed any further charges on delivery. 

8.B. Europe (including Northern Ireland Shipping)

Due to European regulations as of December 2024 we declare we are EU GPSR compliant. 

*A small number of items are not available to ship to EU due to EU GPSR these include lamps, art prints, cushions however the majority of our ceramic statue range is available to ship to EU.

8.C. ROW Shipping

Rest of World e.g. Australia, Canada, UAE, New Zealand, Japan, China etc (excluding UK, USA mainland)
