Tufted Rugs & Cushions

Each tuftedrug and cushion is hand made for us in India by a small family business of crafts people who have been refining the skills of carpet making for generations. The rugs are created by 'hand tufting' this methods creates the pile by wrapping the yarn around the warp threads. The back of the rug is then secured with a latex-like adhesive and decorated with a cotton backing. Our friends in India tell us creating each rug is an artwork in itself.  Due to the handmade nature of our rugs each item will differ slightly.
