As Seen on TV! Kate Winslet, The Regime, HBO

March saw the launch of The Regime on HBO starring Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts and Hugh Grant amongst others for an all star cast. 

Kate Winslet stars in this limited series as the Chancellor of an unnamed Central European nation that is unraveling behind the palace walls. Winslet described The Regime as a "twisted love story" that's also a "geopolitical satire" and also a place where "nothing makes sense at all".

We were drawn in to the set design with its use of opulent gold, green and blue mirrored in the costumes of Winslet. Show costume designer Consolata Boyle described her use of colour and shape for the costumes as a way to emulate the role of seduction through out the story.

The Regime, HBO features a pair of Dogwood Lifestyle ‘Arlo’ large leopard statues

Kate Winslet adored her on set leopards so much the crew gifted her and co-star Matthias Arlo leopards of their very own. Kate says 'I treasure my leopard, my leopard is in the hallway'.
